This is an excellent, novel-length fan fiction which keeps both Belle and Gaston entirely in character throughout the whole tale and makes you feel as though the two were actually made for each other. There's a sequel in progress, This Idyllic Scene, which, as of early October 2010, is about 130K words in and is also quite good.
