A beautiful depiction of Regulus's character. The author does a fantastic job of comparing and contrasting the Black brothers and illustrating Regulus writing his note. The note left in the locket has always been something that I found beautifully written - it was full of quiet courage, the voice of a man that had accepted his death and did not fear it. This story made it so much more poignant. It expressed everything that was conflicted in Regulus - his fear and his courage. His pride and his shame.
