I would like to ask if the article included under Unfortunate Implications qualifies to be cited on this page. I feel that the article breaks at least two rules regarding citing a source:

- “The citation needs to record the opinions of several people; a citation that mentions only one person isn't enough.” — The author of this article uses generalized statements about how the fandom feels about this pairings, but doesn’t use specific quotes by specific people as examples.

- “The citation should be in a reputable source. We'd prefer you cite something a bit more formal than someone's Tumblr blog. Anyone can write a blog post and then call it a "citation".” — The website cited is The Daily Fandom, which has the slogan “By Fans, For Fans”. I’m not saying this is not a reputable website, but is this website a reputable source or just a fan blog?

Am I misunderstanding the trope and this entry is allowed?

Edit: I posted this question on January 18, 2021 and as of March 6, 2021 have not received a reply. I will follow the rules of what qualifies under this trope.
