Evil Former Friend: The last scene before Scotty's departure from the Enterprise saw him bid his farewells to the Enterprise crew then notice a seemingly cold shoulder he gave towards Lt. Worf. Worf reciprocated the gesture as well.
Some TNG newbies may have found this startling until one remembers that Scotty belonged to the TOS era when Klingons were adversaries with the Federation at the time. So it's understandable that Scotty may have still carried that mindset and Worf was made aware of this behaviour.
Of course, it would have been awesome for Scotty to have a Deleted Scene conversation together with Worf.
