Not sure about those Misaimed Fandom examples. Misaimed Fandom is more about fans misinterpreting creator intent than just "fans want something to happen, but it's unlikely".

Removed them just now. And yes, I'm pretty sure they don't fit with the trope. I mean, the first item boils down to "Power Rangers with a high-budget? Don't bet on it." Hasbro's remaking the Monster of the Week suits from Go-Busters. Those can't be cheap.
Should I add a bit to recent entry about Austin St. John's return to the franchise not going over well with some parts of the fandom? Or maybe add it to Broken Base? Because in recent years, he's had a history of being very arrogant if not outright rude to some of his fans and has made a number of bigoted comments and employs people with similar beliefs.
I just think it's a bit of a double standard with how everyone called out Blake Foster for his actions (partially fueled by him being a hypocrite) but it seems like they'll let Austin St. John get away with the stuff he's done just because he was the OG Red Ranger.
