This is not what the trope is about. Dual troping is strictly forbidden, and doesn't belong in YMMV.

Lethal Joke Item / Boss in Mook Clothing: Players that upgraded their low-level planes to hell and back, specially the beginner plane F4 Phantom, that goes to level twenty (as if goes to eleven wasn't enough).
The only hint that you'll just watch this guy kill every one of your targets is his high match rating level; otherwise, you drop your jaw in a flat what as this beginner plane levels almost everything by himself.
Likewise, people flying with machine gun upgrades. These guys are not relying on missiles, on a game that likes Macross Missile Massacres? Watch out for them. They are not just spending the uneven remains of their upgrade slots, they are actively upgrading the machine guns because they know how to use them.
