Would it be accurate to use Show Within a Show to describe this movie? From what I can tell, it's the original media work the Buzz Lightyear Doll is based off of.

I'd call that the kind of thing we'd have to wait for the actual movie to be able to know for sure / give full context to.

So the Time Dilation trope about the white board scene, I think it's a misinterpretation. On the whiteboard it shows two ships, the big sphere one that's throughout the trailer, and the 'star jet' that Buzz flies. Next to the sphere ship is a scale for 4 years, and next to the 'star jet' is an equally sized scale of four minutes. I think the white board is simply stating that "the distance the sphere ship travels in 4 years takes 4 minutes at hyperspeed."
