Question: Where would the Miranda gym battle fit in? I had thought it'd qualify as That One Boss, but I didn't know if it should go on the main page or YMMV or it there should be spoilers in there.
For clarification: Miranda is gym 8, a Fire gym with Pokemon in the upper 60 to 70. Gym environment is permanent Sunny Day. It's a 6 on 6 double battle. When you go up to her she's about to leave and Jake stops you. He doesn't want you to get the last badge before him. So it turns into a tag team battle against her.
I remember in earlier versions that Jake brought along Pokemon weak to Fire. I don't remember if they were under leveled. But I also remember him taking most of the hits. I also remember him bringing Jirachi. But with the current version he only brings three really under leveled Pokemon who are quickly all K Oed, leaving it two against one. Add that together with several of Miranda's Pokemon now knowing Grass and Ground moves, and a Mega Charizard Y with Drought and Solar Beam. It's rough. Really rough.
