I replaced the line'...when Ireland was formally a part of the United Kingdom of England, Scotland and Ireland ' to 'United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland' as this was the offical title of the state. Also the Act of Union(1800) was agreed (offically) between the kingdoms of Great Britain( when England and Scotland united in 1707, this was the name of the country) and Ireland. I also got rid of the part ' British monarch was among other titles King/Queen of Ireland' because the Act of Union abolished the older titles 'King of Great Britain' and 'King of Ireland' with the new title 'X ,by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland King, Defender of the Faith etc'
How is it that both this wiki and Wikipedia manage to write entire articles on the Question without saying what the hell the Question actually is?
Somehow you know that the time is right. Hide / Show RepliesWell, part of the point is that it's not actually a question at all.
Removed the second page quote, not only because one page quote was enough, but because it was a witty paraphrase rather than a quote.
