it's in 'useful notes' so it's being labelled as 'not a trope', and some people might discard this information as being 'sjw bs' if they weren't accessing it through a website like this, where they might not automatically think "wow these strangers on the internet are attacking me" and instead be like "wow this website is my friend and i trust this website. i should acknowledge these points"
tl;dr tvtropes has a 'useful notes' category for a reason, and that reason is that sometimes things are not tropes, but they still need to be pointed out and examined
