TPCi have done a 20th Anniversary stream of the anime named "Twitch Watches Pokémon" I'm not sure what Trope to mark it as.

Anyone think there should be a mention of Jim Butcher's "Codex Alera" series somewhere on the Pokéman pages? Or is it there somewhere and I just couldn't find it? Butcher has widely acknowledged that the magic system in that series, involving personal "furies" based on elements which individuals control to do magic for them, was based on Pokéman. It goes so far as to include guys wielding impossibly-large swords and hammers and such, with logical in-story explanation. I'm not sure if it should go on Trivia, or maybe Fanfic? Seems like a published six-book series by a major fantasy author should be mentioned somewhere.....
