That 'eldritch' entry makes me want to point out.. they kept mentioning 'xtonic radiation'.. spelled with an x, pronounced with an e-x.. now.. the greek word chthonic is spelled with an X in its native language... hrmmmm....
Maybe I was the only one thinking about this during the episode (and thus perhaps I out-thought The Doctor), but it seems like the best solution to a creature that's constantly repeating would be to supersaturate the content he/she hears. Anyone remember the entertainment system on the ship?
