Is Dumbo really an example? The entry mentions why it isn't - it was made before WWII, when steam was still around, and diesel engines were just starting to appear.
So, should we just remove it since it doesn't apply to this trope?
Fits with the title, but it's not a train; the newest power generating technology, especially as used in submarines, is steam power with a different heat source. Nuclear power heats water which runs through heat exchangers to turn turbines to generate electricity.
