Its about the relationship between a female dhole and a male deer. She killed his mate, and he killed her brother, yet their relationship blossoms nonetheless.
I noticed recently that the I Will Survive entry under Fan Works is merely describing the story and doesn't seem to link to the trope in any way that the original movie doesn't. If anything, it would be a deconstruction of an interspecies romance example. Just wanted to point this out before I delete it.
