Would Anakin force-choking Padme in Revenge of the Sith count, or would that be a case of Square Peg, Round Trope?

Tentatively I'm going to write yes- the crux of this trope seems to be "hero becomes gradually evil and punches someone he didn't mean to as a result".

It occurs to me, though, that the trope title really gives the wrong impression of what this is about. For starters, the title implies that there's a "right" dog to be kicked, which doesn't make any sense. Kicking the dog is always morally wrong, by definition. As is such, I've drawn up a crowner.
