Unless there's some kind of pun or extra meaning I'm missing, this trope's name is really vague for what it's meant to be describing.

I second this. The name's very generic, and when I clicked on its link, I anticipated that it would have to do with an Inverted Trope. Not this. Name's misleading, and needs to be renamed to something that makes sense to what the trope describes.
