Would you say the corsairs of Umbar count? On the one hand, Umbar is located in what would now be called North Africa and they're obviously inspired by the Barbary corsairs. On the other, they're not given much description or characterization, so it's not clear that they really resemble the archetype. In the Jackson film they just look like generic scraggly fantasy villain mooks.
