Is Pastor Jerome really catholic? He isn't stylised as Father (and as a former Catholic from the deep south I can promise you we use Father, not Pastor) and I don't recall there being any evidence of him being Catholic apart from the clerical collar and the rosary, neither of which are exclusive to catholics. Methodists, Baptists, Lutherans, and Anglicans all wear the clerical collar, and rosaries are common enough with all of the aforementioned besides baptists. The fact that the Pastor's rosary has a cross and not a crucifix would also suggest that he is of a protestant denomination.
