Genre Savvy: Lupin seems to know the type of setting he is in, and has figured that the only way to actually WIN the Holy Grail War is by making each of the participants question themselves. By playing on Saber's code, he was able to have her assist him in eliminating Caster. Realizing that Lancer would be too much trouble, he had him manipulated to fight Archer and loose, taking him out of the equation. Not to mention that he's manipulating Kirei more and more to stray away from Tokiomi, giving Lupin free reign to basically do whatever the hell he wants.
Genre Savvy is getting misused almost everywhere on the wiki. It only applies when a character makes a reference to stories, not when they're smart.
