The fact is that Sheldon got a job dealing with two things: subordinates and data, and proved himself incompetent at both of them. I saw Leonard’s actions as more cowardly then jerkish. The fact that they waited so long to tell Sheldon what happen is what makes them wrong not the action itself. If they had told Sheldon what they did during anytime between when they found out and when they got home we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
