Could those who know the subject better tell whether the men with no pain from the Inheritance Cycle are an example or not?
Not to mention the men with no pain.
I dont think the men with no pain count as this trope refers to people who are willing to suffer through long hardships to get what they want, while the men with no pain just giggle all the time and dont care about anything.
