MyFinalEdits recently made an edit that removed the phrase "pretty much" from a lot of examples. The problem is that the phrase "pretty much" actually served a purpose in some of them — "pretty much everyone uses Alice" means "almost everyone uses Alice", not "everyone uses Alice". I get that Word Cruft is annoying, but I don't think a page with a lot of hyperbolic statements like "everyone uses [Game-Breaker]!" is any better. Why not at least replace "pretty much" with e.g. "almost" in cases like these?

On the discussion page for Pokémon Sword and Shield, it was decided that the Dracovish entry should stay as long as it was rewritten to reflect that it was eventually banned. Shouldn't we do the same this time instead of just deleting the entry?

Yes. You can save time and put the rewritten entry on this page.

^ Done.

I just think the removal was strange and worth bringing up. First Kevjro7 removed the example from the SwSh YMMV page for being outdated. We discussed it. Kevjro7 was outvoted 2-1 and told me to add the rewritten entry to the page. But then Kevjro7 went to this page and removed the entry instead of updating it. I don't know why they did that. Isn't the general rule that if an example belongs on a work page, it also belongs on a trope page (and vice versa)?

Well, it's more of a general suggestion. Also, maybe they were counting on nobody paying attention.
