I simply thought that the current image looked a bit awkward with Manus simply floating in white, and that a picture of him in his boss room would better contextualize the character and convey his intimidating nature to the reader. If this is some grave violation of wiki policy than keep it as is, I really don't give a shit.

Sin Nanna has unilaterally changed Manus' image on the argument that it would look better surrounded by darkness.
This is a really weak excuse. Not only was the original vector image free of background colouring, but now the current picture looks really bad with night vision.
Not to mention I can bring the issue to Image Pickin' right there and then.
