How long are we going to pretend that we all don't already know for an ironclad fact that Jon is the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna, not Ned? Seriously, it's a known fact at this stage: the TV series confirmed it, and it was confirmed that Weiss and Benioff correctly guessing it was how they got approved for the gig of running the show, so that's literally as good as Martin confirming it as true for the books as well. But since that's a meta-revelation rather than an in-universe one, are we just going to all pretend not to know until The Winds of Winter presumably comes out and confirms it (assuming it ever does before Martin's death)?
