If the instincts were only half-right and there's three instances their instinctive (initial as opposed to thought out) actions were portrayed as mistakes, how is it not breaking the Aesop if trusting instincts was correct only 1/6 (0.5/3) of the time while the others going with instinct make things worse?
If the bad decisions were made by someone other than what can be considered instinct, I’d agree with it being misuse. But how are said knee-jerk, poorly thought out decisions not "instinctive" or anything similar?
So the "trust your instincts" Aesop for "A Canterlot Wedding" is broken because the characters in it had bad instincts?
