Possible trope addition: Blue and Orange Morality. One of the more memorable quotes, at least from the Japanese dub, was "Why is the wolf always bad?" It brings up a powerful question: how exactly would we react if "wolf men" suddenly became part of our own society? My only hesitation in adding the trope is that it can be paralleled to some degree with racism and other discriminatory problems that have plagued actual society in the past and present, and that the example might not be foreign enough to really be considered Blue and Orange Morality. Any thoughts?

I don't think Blue and Orange morality is the name for it, doesn't that refer to creatures whose morals/rules are vastly different than humans'? Plus Ame's question refers to why wolves are always portrayed as bad guys in fairytales, that and "how would people react to supernatural creatures" are two different topics, both of which are controversial and I don't think can be discussed directly concerning this movie. Though, to put an answer to Ame's question into a trope, there's Savage Wolves.
