I don\'t know if \'\'Carrie\'\' was the TropeMaker or TropeCodifier for the \"evil Christian fanatic\" villain, as previous religion-related horror stories like \'\'Rosemary\'s Baby\'\' and \'\'The Exorcist\'\' portrayed Christians as saviors and heroes.

The only comment I saw on \'\'Flying Girl\'\' was complaining about how the pages did not show enough graphic detail. I leave to the reader whether he meant that he would love it more if it was even more realistic and heavy enough (though from \'\'The Execution of Joanne\'\' I know that inciting too much apathy for the characters and extremely realistic art results in people hating your work. ) or if he wanted it to be so exaggerated in its realism that it CrossesTheLineTwice . (Personally I take the latter.)
