Never confirmed? Have you read the last chapter? Of course it\'s a parody. The last chapter is pretty much one great big meta-commentary with Voldemort standing in for the author and the all other characters as the readers - just swap \"atheist\" and \"Christian\" with each other and \"Reddit\" with \"fanfiction\" and you\'ve pretty much got a direct written confession.
