The climbers were pretty pointless, I must say. They were just an extra distraction. He certainly didn\'t get any intel about the defenses from them deploying the Scythe... that seemed like a first resort, not a last resort. If it were a a one-time use weapon, then sure. But it seemed like it had a surprisingly quick reset time.

I think chalking up bad decisions to \\\"he was testing them\\\" is a bad idea. It\\\'s speculative for one, and for another... testing them doesn\\\'t necessitate doing stupid stuff. That said, I think HollywoodTactics fits a bit better for some of these instances.
