Re: \\\'\\\'Series/DoctorWho\\\'\\\' and not assassinating Davros: Four doesn\\\'t really seem like the guilt-ridden type from what little I\\\'ve seen of him (although I\\\'ve seen neither Genesis nor Destiny of the Daleks), and I certainly don\\\'t recall any of the post-Time War Doctors making much reference to failing to prevent the Daleks from being created or failing to kill Davros (believing he killed the Time Lords, yes. Not killing the Daleks at their creation, ehhh). Does the trope really apply? The Doctor\\\'s motivations if anything are \\\"see the universe\\\", \\\"fun\\\" and \\\"try to stay out of trouble\\\".

Also, the Doctor tried saving Davros. Once as the War Doctor (or maybe the Eighth Doctor while helping those affected by the Time War) when he fell into the jaws of the Nightmare Child, and again as the Tenth Doctor when \\\"Tentoo\\\" blew up the Crucible.
