I just meant having Tyrande as the overall military commander, not necessarily head of the alliance or the main Alliance character, as she\'s a logical choice. She\'s older than the other faction leaders by thousands of years except for her husband Malfurion and Velen, whose roles in the story are less combat oriented, giving her as mentioned before much more experience that would be useful on the front lines. With combat skills and healing abilities, I think she\'s the closest the Night Elves have to a paladin (just an interesting side-point).

I do hope the Horde under Vol\'jin gets a more positive portrayal in the next expansion, and I\'m interested to see what kind of king Anduin would be.

To amend my earlier argument, Varian did make a mistake. He reignited war between the Alliance and the Horde due to Putress and the rogue Forsaken\\\'s actions at Wrathgate, even though they betrayed the Horde as well. The rogue Forsaken faction were serving Varimatharas, Sylvanas\\\' former Dreadlord lieutenant who betrayed her, starting with Wrathgate. They point out to Varian that the actions were not planned or endorsed by the Horde but he disregarded that. In closing, Thrall was trying to make piece, Varian saw one renegade FORMER horde group betray them and decided the whole Horde wasn\\\'t trustworthy. That was problem I was referring to.
