One hat again? People really need to let their YouKnowThatThingWhere propositions sit around longer for further review. For one, the description suggests less sophisticated monsters are being turned away from as the fiction of yesteryear. Fine, but consider the [[HinduMythology Asura class]]. The Rakshasas in particular were man eating monsters expelled from Brama\\\'s realm after he created them on accident, yet they also studied vigorously, meditated, grew gardens and developed a sophisticated society. Ravana, possibly the biggest bad in Hinduism, was honored for his respectable points after Rama, the avatar of the god of the universe, killed him.

Okay, so that example is not considered \\\"fictional\\\" but \\\"cultured warrior\\\" monsters are not exactly a recent concept, and if it stuck around little before launch it may have been launched with a better description...more examples too. Vali, Bali, Jatayu, Tripurasura, they are all featured in the same work Ravana is and might be worth mentioning too.
