But the editorial policy is that each character is gauged by how much they do within the reach of their scale, whether they have moral agency, and if they are capable of feeling love towards somebody or in this case something else.

Of course, in some cases, such as Obito from Naruto, this, and his UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans goal (as compared to Thanos\\\' DystopiaJustifiesTheMeans), has been ignored, and he was put there anyway, so the evaluations are far from consistent.
