Loras isn\'t a good example for either trope. CampGay is one extreme side of the spectrum, and Loras isn\'t anywhere near that. Even within the culture of Westeros, there could be much campier gay characters than Loras. Varys would be a much better example (as I recall someone suggests that he has a taste for boys in spite of his castration). Even Lancel acts more like a stereotypical gay man than Loras, and he\'s pretty overtly straight.
