By that definition, you can\'t have a BLAM, period (since, even if they happened in a movie or TV show, we\'re talking about them). I would say that a BLAM is possible in real life if the incident made no sense in the context of anything else that was going on at that particular point in time and was never referred to again within a reasonable window of time afterward. Or would that just be considered a non sequitur?
