Say... does the Gurren Laggan example really count? i mean, sure he got annoyed by some of Kamina\'s Actions, but he didn\'t seemed like he took them to heart, and after the time skip he practially had to take care of all the population needs because ,the rest of the Dai-Gurren, while good at being Hot-blooded heroes, were bad administrators, and at any case, Rossiu, didn\'t arrested(and ordered the execution of) Simon because of a grudge against him or Kamina, but because he was dealing with an {{Angry Mob}} at the time and since Simmon was involved in the fight that caused the destruction that made the people go angry he ended up being a [[SacrificialLion Sacrificial]] [[TheScapegoat Scapegoat]].

*also as a side note, even the {{Evil Chancellor}} part is debatable, he was doing a good job of keeping the peace and improving the people\'s lifes, is just that when an [[TheEndOfWorldAsWeKnowIt extraterrestial menace]] appeared [[IDidWhatIHadToDo he had to take harsh and unpopular desitions]] that he [[WellIntentionedExtremist considerated necesary]] (and considering his origins from the Adai Village, he probably already was used to the idea of sacrificing a few for the greater good)
