Total Abandonment: The channel, with the exception of perhaps a few shows, has long abandoned its original concept. Disney channel originally started out as a family variety channel with shows for all ages and demographics, and good cartoons. Now all that they mostly show, with the exception of the afore mentioned Phineas and Ferb, are mediocre tweencoms and repeats of old mediocre tweencoms, mostly brewed by \'It\'s a Laugh Productions\'.

Now, for the last few years, all that they mostly show, with the exception of the afore mentioned Phineas and Ferb, are mediocre tweencoms and repeats of old mediocre tweencoms, mostly brewed by \\\'It\\\'s a Laugh Productions\\\', aimed at only one demographic;tweens. Not to mention the channel has been showing a fair amount of WB material. The reason for all this; money, dear boy.
