GirlsLove to me rather defeats the point of having an English title, given that in this case it\\\'s really an Ingrish title, which is fairly non-intuitive to English-speakers who aren\\\'t familiar with the term already (\\\"Does it mean that girls can love but boys can\\\'t? Is it a particularly feminine form of love? What? It\\\'s about lesbians? Seriously?\\\"), who are probably more used to using the term \\\"yuri\\\" anyway. Indeed, the irony is that whilst GirlsLove is comprised of English words and \\\"yuri\\\" is a Japanese word, the former is the term used in Japanese whilst the \\\'\\\'latter\\\'\\\' is the term used in English. So yeah. [[hottip:Clarification:Before anyone calls me out on it, yes, I know yuri \\\'\\\'is\\\'\\\' used in Japanese - [[CaptainObvious it being a Japanese word and all]] - but the sense is a bit broader, from what I understand, being used to refer to just about anything to do with lesbianism, whereas in English it tends to have the narrow sense of, well, YuriGenre, which matches the use of \\\"Girls Love\\\" in Japanese.]]

All that said, I wouldn\\\'t be averse to this trope being renamed GirlsLove, since if it\\\'s going to be restricted to Japanese examples then that \\\'\\\'is\\\'\\\' the native term, and thus the one I would consider more correct.

I definitely agree with regards to {{Yaoi}}; furthermore, the two really ought to be named the same way (that trope is currently names, perplexingly enough, BoysLoveGenre, with {{Yaoi}} as a redirect). I\\\'d rather them both not be strictly limited to Japanese examples, to be honest, but current site policy seems to be trending in the opposite direction. At any rate, I\\\'d be happy with them just being consistent.
