I firmly believe in some kind of connection between Katara and Aang - she was able to bring him out of the Avatar State in \'\'\'\'\'the second episode\'\'\'\'\' - after knowing him for less than a \'\'\'\'\'week\'\'\'\'\' - just by calling to him. It\'s writer-enforced, but if Vathara wants to sink that ship she\'ll have to re-write that episode so Appa brings Aang out of it.

I was pointing out that Zuko - and, it seems everyone else in the Fire Nation - hates and fears the Avatar, and Zuko just severely damaged one of his safeguards. Out of two, the other one of which was damaged pretty badly by his \'\'allies\'\', the Dai Li. In context, he\'s a Japanese who just tore a safety catch off a nuclear warhead that appeared in Tokyo. And the other one looks like it\'s in the hands of a Korean. I hope he has a freakout.
