Gaston defenitely became a monster by the end of the film (that was the whole point) but he that probably wasn\'t enough for him to be a full-fledged CompleteMonster. Shan Yu on the other hand...if he got a FreudianExcuse like [[KungFuPanda Ty Lung\'s]] than maybe he wouldn\'t qualify but as it stands, he didn\'t. He was thoroughly despicable. The description spells out why he\'s an example of this trope but some people just can\'t let go of the whole followers thing.
