Removed the bit about Kanye West \\\"missing the point\\\" because it\\\'s unfitting and ridiculous. Not all of Murakami\\\'s work is meant to be some deep anti-consumerist message, and not every aspect of his style is somehow meant to get across that idea. He\\\'s done a ton of commercial work, including actual, well.... commercials. There is absolutely nothing wrong with just liking the man\\\'s style.
