EDIT 2: Here\'s another possibility; of all the genres I found the most difficult to work with, nothing stuck out as much as Rap-Rock; I basically had no idea where to put most of them. I even had LinkinPark and LimpBizkit under rock for a while, which caused some confusion and got {{Zebrahead}} place under rock as well (they\'re under punk atm); {{Brokencyde}} was another problem in this regard. It never occurred to me to actually make a folder for it (I generally go with which they are more, usually lumping them under alternative). Sure, it\'s a fusion-genre, but it\'s a fusion of two very unlike styles; it could work.

EDIT: On second thought, you could look into making an Avant-garde/Experimental folder, which till now I\'ve lumped in with Progressive rock[[hottip:*:I considered such a folder when I categorized these, but there\'s weren\'t enough applicable artists at the time. Maybe that\'s changed]]. It might solve the problem with the bloated alternative folder more than a psychedelic folder would.

You may not. Anything other than major genres would just confuse artist placement. Alternative just happens to be a large genre, there\'s nothing that can be done about it.
