Yes, that\'s a point: it\'s a redundant categorisation (which is bad because we want people to develop a good intuition of where things might be and where they might go and redundant categorisation confuses things).

Yes, that\\\'s a point: it\\\'s a redundant categorisation (which is bad because we want people to develop a good intuition of where things might be and where they might go and redundant categorisation confuses things).

Yeah... and then you throw onto that the level to which one might categorise something as a \\\"Christian-Muslim war\\\", the murkiness of tying them all together and of putting the period into one sacl- you had cro-religiou alliances, empire building and plenty of other reasons for conflicts...at least TheCrusades had people saying \\\"For Religion!\\\" but actually here...

All that and it doesn\\\'t even seem that Useful- there were wars between Muslim and Christian empires. We know. That\\\'s on other pages. They had empires. Well, yeah. It doesn\\\'t seem to be fulfilling a particular \\\"we have to answer this question\\\" need other than pointing out that a series of conflicts at the time were often phrased as a broad religious conflict. The perfect comparison is probably the ColdWar page which has a job on the wiki. This page make me wonder why we would have it here.
