\\\"The idea is to make articles in Main look like they were written by the same person. A person with a good sense of humor, who doesn\\\'t talk about himself with \\\'I\\\' or \\\'this troper\\\', or get in arguments with himself, and who just corrects errors he might have made earlier without drawing attention to them. \\\"

When replacing this on the main page, please unify the material into an example. Also: double star markup is not used for a paragraph break: see ExampleIndentationInTropeLists. And we don\\\'t add paragraph breaks just beacuse it is a different author.

* \\\'\\\'TheMoonIsAHarshMistress\\\'\\\'. So, so much. Sometimes, when diplomacy and pamphlets and infiltration aren\\\'t enough, you just have to [[ColonyDrop throw some rocks on things]].
** An aversion, surely? They go to great lengths to avoid civilian casualties (greater lengths, it may be said, than any of the Allies did in World War Two, the most recent Big War when the novel was written.)
** It\\\'s stated in the novel that the largest civilian casualties came from rocks deflected by interceptor missiles, pushing them into landing directly on cities instead of the relatively harmless water targets they were aimed for. The bombardment plan was nearly aborted when they learned that sightseers had disbelieved the rebel\\\'s warnings, and gone to target sites to watch the \\\'show\\\', and been killed.
** On the other hand, LaResistance practices some very devious and underhanded methods in gaining public support. They willfully engage in propaganda, outright lies, fake assassinations, and other dirty tricks to get the people of Luna on their side. The Lunar Authority was unpopular, and rightfully so, but they weren\\\'t quite the villains they were made out to be.

** According to the movie, they weren\\\'t even considered the \\\"legitimate\\\" resistance force. Apparently they were something of a splinter faction.
