* AnthropomorphicPersonification: The plot and werewolves can be seen as an allegory for the unbridled male sex drive as a lot of the werewolves are male (Silas, Caleb, and Chris, with the exception of Kaylee). Both Jacob and Nick were interested in the women at camp (Jacob and Emma, Nick and Abigail) but their hormones get the better of them as Jacob unwitting strands them all at camp by sabotaging the minivan in an attempt to have one more chance to convince Emma to start dating him officially. After Nick is infected, he starts revealing that he was only interested in having sex with Abigail rather than genuinely being interested in her, the first werewolf even appears as Nick and Abigail have their first moment of intimacy.

I don\\\'t think this is correct, but we can have a discussion here. It\\\'s not for the following reasons:

1.) All of the campers can be infected (it\\\'s even an achievement). In fact, one of the campers, Laura, is not only female, but always infected.

2.) Max, Ryan, and Chris do not act in the way described, and all are men.

3.) Problems with the werewolves\\\' emotional state only happen with Jacob and Nick, as it\\\'s the only things on their mind at the time. When Max transforms, he simply describes symptoms.

4.) Emma is very aggressive and violent as a werewolf, and she is female.

I think this is a very forced interpretation, and shouldn\\\'t be added. Agree/Disagree?
