->\\\"As for my treatment of the book, I have generally tried to be factual about it. That includes assuming the narrator is reliable, if there\\\'s no clear and persuasive reason to assume otherwise. If we assume the narrator is lying and we can write in any fanfiction we want to as \\\"what really happened,\\\" the result is a postmodern mess. \\\"

You wouldn\\\'t assume the narrator of Literature/MeinKampf to be reliable, why do you assume the narrator of Victoria is reliable?

The book itself is a fanfiction of reality. What Lind imagines his perfect world is going to be, with all of his ideological enemies dead and his AuthorAvatar successful, decorated and retired on a farm somewhere. After he freed USA and helped build that (segregated fascist) utopia. Again, why are you assuming the narrator of a non-satirical propaganda piece to be reliable?

You should\'ve noticed by now I don\'t quote that book, ever.

You should\\\'ve noticed by now I don\\\'t quote that book, ever. For the simple reason that I don\\\'t want to and if I wanted to, I would have to quote long paragraphs, which would just spread the fascist message further.
