[004] Unsung Current Version

The CripplingOverspecialization entry as written does seem pretty speculative/WMG, could probably be removed. Any other parts you were looking at? The episode doesn\'t confirm much, but the shield only goes up for explosions and bullets, not Spike\'s hand-to-hand strikes, which Pierrot just blocks or dodges, or that final knife toss. So while I don\'t know that we can confirm it works exactly like Dune, I don\'t think it\'s an unfair comparison based on what we see.

Nothing I\'ve found so far, though given the density of sci-fi references the show makes, it wouldn\'t surprise me. [[Film/{{Dune}} The movie]] if not the book definitely seems like it would\'ve been on the creators\' radar. But I can\'t confirm it.
