I will suggest however that he might deserve a specific mention for [=PvE=], because Surtr\'s kit is going to be busted against the AI on a level that was previously inconceivable. With his AOE damage/debuff skills, \'\'massive\'\' Def with Steady Stance 4 and appropriate buff/heal support, he can bottleneck all of the enemies and just sit there, watching them burn.

I\'m inclined to agree that Surtr looks a lot more intimidating than he actually is. The biggest annoyance I saw in his kit was the dime-a-dozen Wary Fighter that commonly prevents you from one-rounding armors; the obvious intent is for Surtr to weather any kind of attack and let the attack drop right in front of him, but any player worth their salt will have a movement skill and/or a Refresher unit to prevent this. Steady Stance 4 is actually really good, but occupying the A slot means Surtr can\'t run Distant Counter with it, so he gets clowned on by any fine-tuned mage.
