A foil is a character who is meant to highlight another\\\'s attributes, usually by contrasting them. As such, they have to have some sort of connection, either directly in the work or at least be compared to each other.
Other than a few involving Akechi, almost all of these are less \\\"this character is a foil\\\" and more \\\"hey, I noticed similarities between these characters.\\\" Oftentimes so superficial and random that claiming the connection is absurd.
