Just a quick note, there seems to have been a mix-up with the third season recaps. The season premiere Everything is Bonzer is double-length but the recap split the information. Information for The Brainy Bunch ended up on The Snowplough page. I\\\'ve moved as much as possible but Snowplough is currently locked so I can\\\'t clear the misplaced information.

That said, if his motive for being angry is reliant on how the audience chooses to interpret the scene, {{Hypocrite}} is the wrong trope. That's not an audience reaction trope, so the hypocrisy needs to be clear in the work. I don't know what YMMV trope would best suit your interpretation, but that might be the angle to use.

{{Hypocrite}} is also a parent trope with a lot of sub-tropes. It might be worth checking to see if there's a more appropriate sub-trope as well.

{{Hypocrite}} is also a parent trope with a lot of sub-tropes. It might be worth checking to see if there\'s a more appropriate sub-trope as well... although looking at the sub-tropes, I think the closest option (and it\'s borderline) is StartXToStopX, given that he wants the rift with Raven ended but plans on threatening a fight to achieve an alliance, which is a bit... WTF, Qrow?

Then again, Raven is Raven, so it\'s not entirely surprising either. Ren did suggest that perhaps another solution should be found, but he was ignored, so there was a tiny in-universe nod to Qrow\'s plan perhaps not being the best one. And once Ozpin was back on the scene, he didn\'t even seem to be focussed on Raven\'s clan... he seemed more interested in the timing of an attack on the school, which was different to Qrow\'s discussion with Leo (which focussed on the timing of everyone reaching the bandit camp).

Well, the motive being to protect the Spring Maiden and the Relic from Salem has been clear from the outset.
